We were very excited to cover the Battle at Primm since we got the opportunity to prerun the course in our Project Desert RZR. Because of scheduling issues we were only able to shoot Saturday, the first day of racing, but we got some great shots of the race. Be sure to check out the Carnage that happened to one racer in our Off-road Racing Carnage Column.

February 2nd marked the day of the start of the Best in the Desert Racing series with the Parker 425 in Parker Arizona, sponsored by the Blue Water Resort & Casino. This was our first time out to Parker and I have to say it is one of the best desert races I have witnessed. There are tons of spectator areas around the course, and there were a few extra miles added to the Python this year. |

CORR Racing is changing the way off-road racing can be viewed. With conventional desert racing spectators have to deal with the BLM telling them where they can watch the race, and because of the track sizes it can take a while to see the next car or truck go by.
CORR Racing is definitely a spectator sport. Image a giant motocross track with high horsepower trucks and biggies racing on it. It sure makes for an exciting day of off-road racing.
Here are some highlights of the race in Primm at the seasons last race at the Las Vegas International Off Road Raceway. |

December 1 st marked the start of the last race of the season for the Best in the Desert Racing Association, and there were perfect conditions for racing. |

BJ Richardson Overall Winner With His Class 1 Buggy

The SNORE South Pointe 250 was situated off of Pabco Road near APEX. We situated ourselves about 1/8 mile from the starting line just after a nice S curve in the track. It turned out to be a great spot as the racers went by flinging rocks and dirt as they passed. It was a recipe for some great shots of the race. |

Titled the Longest Offroad Race in America the Best in the Deserts Vegas to Reno Race is not only the longest, but also one of the toughest. There were 149 car/truck entries, and 11 UTV entries, only 74 racers finished in the car and truck classes, and 1 UTV entry. That means well over half of the car and truck entries never made it to Reno. |

As the 5th race of the SCORE Off-road Racing series, the SCORE Las Vegas PRIMM 300 seems to be a stepping stone for most racers on their way to the Baja 1000 held this November. With over 180 entries and a top average lap speed of 58.266 on a 72-mile lap for the winner, this was a very fast track to run. Also since the Herbsts recently purchased the area of PRIMM we will see a big change in future races held in the PRIMM area. |

Just like the explosion of UTV Racing, Trophy Kart Racing is making a pretty big boom of its own. Trophy Kart Racing offers kids and young adults the opportunity to trade paint with others just like their Heros in the Pro CORR categories. |
