This years Best in the Desert Las Vegas 300 held in Jean NV was a tough race for the Trick Truck Class with the first finisher taking 5th place. For this race it was the Class 1 - Unlimited Cars that took center stage.

The top finisher for the day goes to TSCO sponsored Jimco of Mark Weyhrich, Gary Weyhrich, Keith Danczak, Ryan Williams with an overall time of 4:08:46.

Next to cross the finish line was Chuck Hovey in the BF Goodrich sponsored Jimco with an overall time of 4:12:51.

3rd place overall went to the Ross Motorsports 1584 car with an overall time of 4:20:56

Steve Croll in the 1585 car took 4th for the day with an overall time of 4:26:49.
The first Trick Truck to finish was Ron Whitton in the GNR Racing #39 Ford with a total time of 4:30:58.

The second Trick Truck to finish is Mark Post in the #3 Truck with an overall time of 4:55:31

Will Staats in the #42 Ford took third for the day in Trick Truck and 12th overall with a time of 4:58:02
Class 8 saw the LeDuc team take first in its class and made an impressive overall finish in 7th place at 4:42:50

The Pac West Sheet Metal sponsored 8004 Truck took second in Class 8 and overall placed 10th in the race with a time of 4:51:23

Mark Beeler in the KC HiLites sponsored 8001 truck came in third for Class 8 and 13th overall with a time of 5:01:41.
ProTrucks number one finisher was Alan Levinson in the 1207 Ford truck with an overall time of 4:50:11

In Class 7200 Unlimited Mini we saw Larry Roeseler in the 7201 Ford take the win and had an overall finish at 14th place with a time of 5:04:47.

His runner up was John Swift in the 7220 Ford with an 18th place overall finish and a time of 5:13:05

Third in Class 7200 went to Daniel Bolton in the 7223 Ford with an overall finish of 24th and a time of 5:29:43
Class 10 saw Larry Job take the win in his class with a time of 5:07:11 and an overall finish of 15th.

8100 Class Stock Full had Greg Foutz take the first place finish and an overall of 37th. His overall time was 6:15:56

Next we had the Hummer driven by Chad Hall finishing with a time of 6:37:32 and an overall finish in 42nd place.
Class 7S once again saw the Dixon Bros Racing Ford finish top in its class and 40th overall with a time of 6:34:36 keeping them first in their class.

Next to finish in Class 7S was Wayne Demonja in the 7101 Ford Truck with an overall finish of 48th and a time of 6:58:24
Overall it was a great day of racing. Out of 95 Car/Truck entries there were 28 DNFs which goes to show the Jean Nevada desert took down over 25% of the entries.
