Short-Course Race Fans had it great for the season opener in Primm. Friday’s qualifying was brutally winding causing some of the racers to ease of the skinny pedal when hitting the table-top at the end of the track.

Luckily Mother Nature turned the tides on Saturday with a gentle breeze, and plenty of sunshine. Race fans filled the stands to watch some of the most exciting off-road racing on the planet. This rounded out the action for Saturday. Here are some shots of the action from Friday’s Practice, Saturday’s race and Sunday’s Race.
| The day opened with the Unlimited 2 class taking the stage. 12 trucks raced for the finish with Carl Renezeder taking the win. It turned out to be a prosperous weekend for Renezeder taking home two impressive wins, helping himself to the largest part of a $60,000 purse which was put up by K&N Filters. Renezeder snagged both $15,000 checks for each of his wins in the Unlimited 2 and Unlimited 4 divisions. |
