Fabtech Ranger Edge Spindle Lift Install

Since the spindle drops the brakes 3 inches lower you need to relocate the mount for the brake lines. This was done by using a self-tapping screw instead of using the hardware provided in the Fabtech Kit.

The last part of the install is the new steering stop. Since the calipers are lower in relation to the factory mounting, not replacing this steering stop would cause your brakes to fail at full lock. When you turned the wheels all the way to one direction the factory steering stop would hit the caliper and push it out. The new steering stop mounts under the a-arm to prevent this from happening.

Then you reattach the tie-rod and ABS sensor to complete one side. Just repeat the process on the other side, add some new wheels and tires and you are ready to go.
