Well I have to say that all the hard work that goes into producing this magazine every month has its perks. While working on an upcoming segment of our “Meet the Race Teams” features, I got the opportunity to really go behind the scenes of the Team Ford Racing team, I actually got a ride in their Trophy Truck, two rides to be exact.

If you play in the dirt your toys are going to get dirty. That is exactly what happened to our Project Desert RZR.

We are always looking for great prerunners, race trucks, and side x sides to feature in the magazine. The problem we run into is the vehicle might be nice but the pictures showing it aren’t. We felt the best way to solve this was to give our readers a little instruction on “How to get your Prerunner in our Magazine”. Think of this as photography 101.

Round 10 of the 2008 Championship Off Road Racing Season gave fans a day full of racing action as black flags came out in both the Pro 4 and Pro Lite races.  Amsoil/Kumho’s Scott Douglas, Papas & Beer’s Rodrigo Ampudia, and Rockstar/BFGoodrich’s Rob MacCachren all came out on top in each of their classes.  

The 31st annual SNORE KC HiLiTES Midnight Special race started this year in Jean NV. The start did not come without complications though.

The 2008 Vegas to Reno race had a record number of entries with 322 racers leaving the line in Beatty Nevada. The start line was set up on what looked like a well maintained dirt road that swept to the right before the racers climbed up and over the mountains on their journey through America’s Longest Off-road Race.
