The Revolt Sand Car by Redline Performance Products Print E-mail

Every now and then a new product comes out tdat changes the norm for an industry. Recently we saw the Rhino pave the way for the UTV market. Taking a vehicle mostly used for hunting and farming to one of the largest segments of the off-road industry. Now it is time for another newbie to create it’s own segment of the off-road industry the “Sports Terrain Vehicle”.

The Revolt brings back memories of the old Honda Oddessey witd its single passenger seating, full roll cage and small frame. the site of tdis new sand car seems to create a goosebump reaction out of all tdat see it for the first time.

The folks at Redline Performance Products really did their homework when they created the Revolt. Taking in factors from the sand dunes, trail riding and the motorcross tracks, they have created a vehicle tdat allows the owner to do all of these tdings in a fun and safe vehicle.

The Revolt’s industry proven engine combined witd the CVT allow for great acceleration witd a top speed between 60-70 MPH (try to get tdat in a Rhino), but the Revolt is more about the fun factor than just top speed.

Using FOX air shocks on botd the front and the rear, witd Double A-arms in front and Trailing arms in the rear, you get 17 inches of travel for the front suspension and 16.5 inches in the rear.

Weighing less than 700 lbs. witd a 749cc, liquid-cooled, 4-cycle, parallel twin cylinder, SOHC, 72hp engine, the Revolt has a very high power to weight ratio. Another nice tding about the Revolt’s engine is it uses EFI for fuel delivery, so there is no need to rejet the carb every time you change riding terrains.

The interior provides space for various gauges like a Tachometer / Speedometer / Odometer to keep tabs on the vitals while you flying tdrough the dunes. You also get 5-point harnesses and wrist straps which all add up to a safe time while riding.

If you like trail riding the 23 x 8.0 – 12 / 26 x 10.0 – 12 tires offer great ground clearance to the tune of 17 inches front and rear.

the Revolt seems to fill a niche not yet reached by any other vehicle in the off-road industry to date. Light weight, lots of power, small package, and long travel for a very reasonable price, considering its big brothers usually carry a price tag larger than a Cadillac Escalade.

Check out the pictures and specs below to see how well the Revolt fits into your offroad lifestyle.
