Neck Snappin Rhino

Bill Hogan of Magnum OffRoad found our post on Planet Side X Side looking for the sickest Side x Sides to feature in the magazine. Well he did not let us down with his Rhino submission.

Magnum OffRoad in Vista CA builds some of the greatest Rhinos and RZR around. Got a Hummer or FJ you that needs work?...they will do that too. The intro picture for this article really tells the tale of this Neck Snappin Rhino.

The first thing you notice about this custom Rhino is the low wide stance of the MagnumOffroad 4130 +6 Longtravel suspension with HD Billet Tie rods. At the ends of those massive a-arms are a set of ITP Beadlock wheels with Maxxis Bighorn tires.

You’ll also notice the body is wider than stock, that’s another service offered by MagnumOffroad. They custom built the new body to fit their needs.

Now most Side x Side enthusiasts know that the stock 660cc engine in a Rhino is starting to look small with the introduction of Polaris’ RZR packin’ an 800, so MagnumOffroad swapped in a Can-Am Rotax 800 V-Twin Motor. This necessitated Front & Rear Diff mods in order to make the swap work in their Rhino.

Keeping the occupants safe in this wild ride is a full custom cage with a custom thru hood front bumper and a light bar housing 5 Vision X HID Lights. To protect all that metal work from the elements everything has been 2-tone powder coated to withstand years of abuse.

Yes I have to admit I am a little biased towards the RZR when it comes to Side x Sides, but one look at this Rhino will make any Polaris lover think twice.
