While covering the Best in the Desert Las Vegas 300 at the beginning of October I met a soft-spoken guy with a southern accent. This struck me as strange considering Desert Racing is mostly a western thing. We spoke briefly as he went by to shoot some pics from further down the track. |

As you might have read in the Prerunner Maniac Blog we made a 14 hour round trip to see the folks at RideNow Powersports Metro (Formerly Metro Motorsports) to pick up our newest project, “Desert RZR”. I am sure everyone has seen and heard about the new Polaris RZR. We even wrote an article about it, 2008 Polaris Ranger RZR. Well after months of waiting we finally got one of our own. |

Every now and then a new product comes out tdat changes the norm for an industry. Recently we saw the Rhino pave the way for the UTV market. Taking a vehicle mostly used for hunting and farming to one of the largest segments of the off-road industry. Now it is time for another newbie to create it’s own segment of the off-road industry the “Sports Terrain Vehicle”. |

While checking out some of the greatest the offroad industry has to offer at the Extreme Motorsports Expo 2007 my eye is caught by this retina burning flamed out custom Rhino. Now I am not talking about a “normal” flame job you would see on an old Merc, I mean realistic fire. After taking a closer look I met the Guys at Lion Cart, Terry Couch and Mark Broyles. Lion Cart specializes in accessories for the Yamaha Rhino, Polaris Ranger, and even the not yet released Polaris RZR.
