Lift or Long-Travel

When I was a kid and got my first taste of 4WDs I knew I had to have one. The vehicle I am talking about was a mid-80’s Club Cab 4x4 Chevy Duallie. It was raised to the sky sitting on 44” Gumbo Monster Mudders, and it looked mean. Another experience I had was in my friend’s Dad’s ’81 GMC Step-side pickup. This truck sat on 36” Dick Cepek Fun Countrys. Both of these trucks had solid front axles and leaf spring suspensions. It was simple and effective, but very bouncing on the road. With leaf spru...

Championship Off Road Racing (CORR) combines the action of desert racing in a motocross environment. Raced on a closed course offroad track CORR is non-stop excitement.

Lion Cart's Custom Rhino

While checking out some of the greatest the offroad industry has to offer at the Extreme Motorsports Expo 2007 my eye is caught by this retina burning flamed out custom Rhino. Now I am not talking about a “normal” flame job you would see on an old Merc, I mean realistic fire. After taking a closer look I met the Guys at Lion Cart, Terry Couch and Mark Broyles. Lion Cart specializes in accessories for the Yamaha Rhino, Polaris Ranger, and even the not yet released Polaris RZR. Based in Phoenix Li...
