I was glad to find a project that mirrored what I would like to do to my 2001 4WD F150 SuperCrew. Now that I can afford it, I want to make sure that I get all the best applications for it.

What do you think about the H-n-M system vs the Dixon Bros? Other than it cost $1000 more and comes with no axels in the kit. Also do you prefer Fox or King shocks for this truck? It will be used as a daily driver and also a prerunner for our BITD series. Here's the link to check it out.

Do you know of any aftermarket power steering set up that would work for this truck or just stick with stock?

Re:4WD Ford F-150 Prerunner by Dixon Bros. Racing - 2008/07/17 20:54 Well being a Dixon Kit owner and knowing Aaron I am a little biased. We just featured a Ranger with the H@M Motorsports 2WD kit on it and I was quite impressed.

For the price the Dixon kit definately wins. I have seen a friend of mine with the 4WD Dixon kit on his F150 take Quad jumps in his truck and the kit held up fine.

I personally lean towards FOX shocks. Kings are also a good choice, but a bit more expensive. Both of them are rebuildable so they both will last you a long tme.

Be sure to send us pics of your truck when you get your kit installed. Maybe we can get it in the magazine. Adem
