My project... - 2007/07/10 09:05
...I decided to start building my truck up a couple of months ago. It's a 2002 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4 4.0 V6. What I've done myself is: 3" wheel spacers, glassworks up front, and pulled bedsides. On July 23 Robby at Woolworth Motorsports will be building my rear end. It will consist of Deaver LT's, Camburg shackles, Kartek spring plates, Beard limit straps, a custom made bed cage that will hold my F.A.O. shocks and will also be my rear bumper and spare tire holder. Oh, and at this time he is also going to build my front bumper :)
In August/September (when I get my student loan) Robby will also be installing the Dixon Bros LT kit, putting a cage in the cab and getting me all ready to have some fun in my truck. After this is complete I will save for a supercharger, and (after my tires wear down) I'm going to upgrade to 35 x 12.5.
Kind of off topic, but I just want to say that Robby and Ron at Woolworth Motorsports are really awesome guys. SUPER friendly, and SUPER knowledgable. Its been nice dealing with such down-to-earth guys who are more than willing to help out a newbie (such as myself). They've got great prices, and the best quality. Who better to have build your truck then someone who's been doing it for 14+ years?! Thanks Woolworth!!
