TJ Flores Overalls and Wins Class 1500

The SNORE Dusty Times 250 has always been touted as a Racers’ Race. Relaxed, kick back racing in an environment seldom seen in desert racing. Since parts of the course stretch into the mountains, the scenery changes from desert brush to alpine trees.

Native Las Vegan Rob MacCachren brought home the win for the second time on the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series in the Pro 2 Unlimited class. Saturday’s weather was fine, but Sunday’s weather was not race friendly, clouds and high winds and a little rain, made the tall table top jumps a bit more hairy.

Now with the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series going strong, a sudden quick change in venue moved the 2010 season opener to the city of lights, Las Vegas.

After coming off a huge win at the season ending Rage at the River race in Laughlin, Daniel made his sponsors proud by not only winning his class but winning overall for the weekend.

Well the Parker "Curse" was at it again. Clouds loomed over head as racers staged for the 2010 Best in the Desert season opener. Fortunately the rain held off until early afternoon, then it came down with a vengeance.
