I am starting to think that there is some kind of magic over the land of Parker that plays host to the Best in the Desert Bluewater Resort & Casino Parker "425". With most of the land that racers tread on being Indian land, I wonder if the tribe does a little rain dance before the event?

The Henderson Fabtech Desert Classic race marks the end of a great season of racing for the Best in the Desert Racing Association. At the close of last year’s season there was a press release stating the Eldorado Valley was to be closed to Desert Racing. Well be it his charm or his business savvy Casey Folks managed to put this race on one more time, with a bit of a twist.

If you don’t think it’s better to start on the pole, ask Sam Berri. Having taken the first spot in the Time Trials Thursday prior to Saturday’s race, top qualifier Sam Berri piloted his Class 1500 unlimited buggy to the overall win at the inaugural Best In The Desert’s Bilek Racing Silver State “300” in the desert north of Mesquite, Nevada.

Roger Norman drove the last lap to victory after teammate Larry Roeseler had spotted him a 10-minute lead driving the first three of four laps in the No. 8 Norman Motorsports Ford F-150 race truck, capturing the overall and SCORE Trophy-Truck victory Saturday at the 13th Annual SCORE Terrible’s Primm 300 desert race.

Championship Off Road Racing is pleased to welcome Carey Hart to the CORR action in 2009. The first rider to ever to complete a back flip on a 250 cc motocross bike, Hart has officially signed on to race a Pro 2 truck with the Premiere Motorsports Group (PMG), Hart & Huntington Team.

Fans filled the grandstands at the Chula Vista International Raceway today for another eventful round of Championship Off Road Racing. Battles ensued and the excitement was high as a rookie took the win in Pro 4, and points leaders fought to hold their positions.

The 2008 Vegas to Reno race had a record number of entries with 322 racers leaving the line in Beatty Nevada. The start line was set up on what looked like a well maintained dirt road that swept to the right before the racers climbed up and over the mountains on their journey through America’s Longest Off-road Race.

Round 10 of the 2008 Championship Off Road Racing Season gave fans a day full of racing action as black flags came out in both the Pro 4 and Pro Lite races. Amsoil/Kumho’s Scott Douglas, Papas & Beer’s Rodrigo Ampudia, and Rockstar/BFGoodrich’s Rob MacCachren all came out on top in each of their classes.
